Newton Mustang Board of Directors, Officers and Members

Board of Directors: The Newton Mustangs organization is managed by a board consisting of 15 Directors. Directors are elected at the annual meeting, or at such times as vacancies may arise. Each Director serves a term of two (2) years, or until a successor has been elected or qualified.

Each Director will attend one board meeting per month. Board meetings are generally scheduled for the 1st Wednesday of each month during the pre-season and regular season. Directors that miss more than three (3) meetings in one year, or miss two (2) or more consecutive meetings, may be voted off of the Board. Each Director will chair or co-chair one or more committees.

Officers: The Newton Mustangs organization Officers consist of a President, a Vice-President, a Secretary, and a Treasurer.  Officers are elected annually by the Board of Directors at the first meeting of the Board of Directors. No Officer may serve more than two (2) consecutive terms.

Members: The Newton Mustang Members are defined as: (a) Parent(s) or legal guardian(s) of any child registered to participate in the football or cheerleading programs of the organization; (b) All coaches and cheer coordinators participating in the program who are appointed and approved by the Board; (c) Any individual interested in active participating in Yourth Football and Cheer who's application has been approved by the Board.

Each member is expected to actively participate in and contribute to at least one committee. Each Director will chair or co-chair one or more committees, however, Members may also chair or co-chair a committee.
